Directions

From the Airport, follow signs to Edinburgh city centre along the A8, through Corstorphine, Murrayfield and Haymarket. At the West End of Princes Street, turn right into Lothian Road and follow the signs to the A702 through 5 sets of traffic lights. At Tollcross (clocktower in the middle of the junction) veer right into Home Street. At the 2nd set of traffic lights by the Kings Theatre, turn right into Gilmore Place. Continue along Gilmore Place for at least half a mile over 2 sets of lights. After the 2nd set of lights, continue straight over the mini roundabout into Polwarth Terrace. Continue along Polwarth Terrace and the Orwell Lodge Hotel is situated at the next set of lights on your left hand side opposite the church.
From the East End of Princes Street from the A1 and A7 follow the signs to Edinburgh City centre and this will bring you in at the East End of Princes Street. At the East End of Princes Street, continue along Princes Street until you reach the West End. Turn left into Lothian Road and follow the directions as above from Lothian Road.
From Princes Street please take LRT bus number 10 or 27 direct to the hotel
