Welcome to ?Ocean Hostel Edinburgh!? Believe it or not we have already opened our reservations for all of Hogmanay 2007!

All groups of 6 or more persons must contact the hostel after booking for further conditions. Please note we do not accept under 16's.

We offer clean, comfortable bunks, separate bathrooms for men and women, kitchen, limited laundry facilities; all within a safe and very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We are also one of the very few hostels in Edinburgh with a couple of free parking spaces!! There is no curfew but we like to keep the noise down after 23:00 p.m.

Enjoy your stay in one of our well kept dormitory rooms. The dorms we offer sleep between 4 - 14 people. We have a living room where you can get local information and brochures.

You can now book Highlands, Loch Ness or Roslyn Chapel tours from the hostel !

The kitchen area also includes a small dining/seating area so you can cook your own meal and relax to enjoy it. Ocean Hostel can sleep over 60 guests and we love to have groups in. Please contact ?Group Bookings? for details.

The hostel has beds for small groups and also individual travellers who are on a budget. Our accommodation will suit anybody who is looking for simple and relaxed accommodation, ideal for single backpackers, friends and other travelling groups visiting Edinburgh.

Directions

DIRECTIONS

The number 35 bus from the AIRPORT drops you off at our door for only £1 (45mins)

We can arrange airport transfers for Large groups!

The number 16 bus from Princes Street drops you off 100m from our doorsteps. Alternatively the very frequent running 7,25, or 22 (ocean terminal) services will drop you off at New Kirk Gate at the end of constitution street. We are about 250m from there.

A taxi from waverly station/princes street costs around £7.

There is free parking spaces around the building. Please contact the hostel if you are going to be early or late.

The shuttle service gives returns to the city centre for just £5 return. Then cross the road to get a No 16 bus (10mins) and ask for an £1 ticket. The driver will let you know when you reach Constitution Street or arrange for me to meet you at the stop! Only 80 yards away!
